Yamaha C2s are pianos with an amazing reputation and continue to be hugely popular with professional players.

Our excellent Yamaha Grand with its clean, singing tone is perfect for slightly smaller venues of around 200 capacity and is especially suited for duo recitals and small chamber groups. It has been recently praised for being “the best hired Yamaha ever played.”

John Broadwood & Sons is the oldest and one of the most prestigious piano companies in the world. The instruments have been enjoyed by the greatest composer-pianists including Mozart, Haydn, Chopin, Beethoven and Liszt. Also, the company holds the Royal Warrant as manufacturer of pianos to Queen Elizabeth II.

Our Baby Grand is perfect for chamber-sized concerts in the home, allowing for stylish interpretations of the great Classical Masters.

Our extremely competitive hire costs include return transportation, insurance, set up and initial tuning. Costs are calculated primarily on hire duration and delivery mileage.

Practice facilities

Pianists, Duos and Piano Trios are welcome to visit our comfortable practice studios to work on our Steinway C and Yamaha pianos. Use the contact form below to check availability. 

Enquire about our rehearsal facilities

Main studio with Steinway C, suitable for solo pianists, Duos and Piano Trios:

  • 1 hour £10
  • 2 hours £18
  • 3 hours £25

2nd studio with Yamaha C2, for solo piano practice:

  • 1 hour £7
  • 2 hours £12
  • 3 hours £18

Times are available between 10am and 6pm Monday to Saturday, and 1pm – 5pm on Sunday.

Stoneleigh Pianos are located in North-East Manchester close to Junction 21 of the M62, and a short walk from Shaw and Crompton Metrolink tram station on the East Didsbury-Rochdale line. Journey time from Manchester Victoria is approx. 25 minutes.
